My 1994 xj40 jag,The transmission light comes on and off,When it’s
on the car lerches or jumps,when I change gears thats when it
lerches, I’ve had it to several mechanics they dod’nt know what it
is, Does anyone out there have any idea what this is.–

Yowza Mr. Barnes,
Right place but wrong Forum.
Go to Jag Lovers, select Forums, and go to the XJ40 Forum with
your question.
Many competent people there to help you. Didn’t want you to
think we were ignoring your query. Personally not familiar with
the newer models after '82.
If they can’t help you with your specific problem they at least
will point you in the right direction to get it repaired honestly
and competently, sometimes the dealer sometimes not, depending
where you live.
