Your MKVIII: THATS not Dick Hile’s old car, is it?

Paul,
No, it wasn’t Dick Hile’s car. This was my local “barn find” 1957 MK VIII restoration project. It hasn’t been on the road under it’s own power since 1975.
Attached is a picture of what it looked like when it arrived at my place on a tow truck.

I still have a LOT of work before it will be ready for the road. But isn’t it lovely to just look at.

Why not. 1988 XJ-SC.

Or for when I need a load of gravel-

Not a ‘glutton for punishment’: that makes you certifiable

Marcos Mantis?

Dude… seek help. NOW*.

As much as I like Jaguars, your Chevy Truck is the most Gorgeous vehicle on this thread!!!

Black paint: no ripples!

I know how those trucks came from the factory, dude…props!

Wigs and Greg- Thank you for the kind words! Got her in '98. Took about five years work. Camaro front and rear suspension. 4 bolt main SBC.
Good old single stage acrylic enamel and LOTS of color sanding.
She’s faster than my Jag up to about 80- but as aerodynamic as a sideways 2x6, so the Jag would win, in the end.
