Jag won't start

Hey I have a 1996 X300 that after I welded the sill end on the drivers side she wouldn’t start wire look okay all the fuses are good but the interior lights and door corner light still work but when I go to start her the car does nothing no click no crank nothing just dead Im hoping someone has any thoughts that we would help me get hee running again

If you carried out the welding without disconnecting the battery first you may a blown fuse so I would start by checking the whole car.

Nope disconnected the battery and checked all the fuses they are okay

It’s all good turns out my jag has I’m guessing thermal cut off rught next to where I was welding that I didn’t know about pushed that back in and all is well again but is it standard for my jag to have one or is it a recall thing or what

Sounds like the Inertia Switch which turns off the engine and cuts off the fuel in the case of accidents, it’s fitted on all Jaguars and other cars.
