Are there any knowledgeable Jaguar guys/mechanics in the Western Chicago Suburbs on here? I’d be interested in having someone take a peek at my '62 era XK 3.8L motor since Jags are all new to me, and the car isn’t drivable at this stage. The motor runs but needs a good tuneup. But since this motor is a bit of a hodge-podge of mismatched parts, I’d like someone with a lot more knowledge to give it a look over and maybe an adjustment here and there before I start replacing parts.
