Jaguar S Type Phone connect

Hi.
So I’m looking to connect my phone to my Jaguar S Type Bluetooth system.

I has it fitted because there is a mic on the roof lining next to the map lights.

The manual says I should put the key in position II and then press the ‘hang up’ button, and ‘SIG’ will be displayed. But when I press the hang up button it displays ‘HANDSET’ for a few seconds and then goes away. I can’t enter the code that I need to (##3#*#)

Any help to this problem?

The manual I have says the code to press is ##1#*# then press the phone key and you should get the message ‘Discover Me’
