Jaguar x300 cuts out at junctions

So sorry for trying to be helpful but as you (should) know the CPS will NOT throw a code, until the OP has checked the wiring on the CPS I would not ignore that item, BTDT

Very true Robin and a load of crut in the gap can also cause issues. Don’t worry about the procedure for the AJ6 being wrong, I’ve not full engaged and treated a post as being an X300 when it has been a X308. BTDT too!

Had the same problem with my 95 3.2 litre 220000km. Just one day started dying at idle.
Cleaning MAF, changing ICV etc. did’nt help. Culprit was a bad ignition coil. Problem was solved. To corner in a coil an OBDII scanner with live data was helpful. It shows the short fuel trim given by the lamda sensors and tells you which bank ( front or rear 3 cylinders) is acting strange.
