My 4.2 1970 was missing the bar when purchased in the 1980’s, so I have no knowledge of fit / attachment parts needed. Are the bars different for different years or models?
I don’t believe the cross bars are different. The earlier ones, from 1968 were alloy and were in the back, so a very different design. But when they went to the center location I’m fairly certain they are all the same. It was only in production for a couple of years.
