hello
need some help from xj40 experts
I am wondering if i can put a late 94 xj4o cylinder head with the oil cap on the valve cover on a late 93 xj4o without the oil fill cap on the camshaft cover .
what should i expect to modify except camshaft cover ?
I have a spare late 94 xj40 head that i can prep , this is the reason I asked.
Well I ain’t no expert when it comes to heads, (other than flushing the head in the house) but one thing that’s different between the two versions is that the 93 cam cover has what, 7? hold down screws and the 94 has 13 …so you’re going to need a 94 cam cover by the sound of it?
I’ve got a spare, but I’m in Canada, anyway, PM me if you’re interested.
Actually I have the later version camshaft cover too.
