I bought it running, it just had a valve and head job before. Must have overheated, fan clutch was shot. Drove it 7 years. liking it, repairs and upgrades along the way, now it’s a big problem suddenly. I spent $2000 fixing the air conditioning. big job myself with rear brakes, frozen calipers. That purge valve is normally open, the ecu must turn it off sometimes.(bench tested new and old). Only time in a shop, was the A/C. Parked in my garage where I walk right by it 100 times a day. It’s had a lot of owners all over California, bought it on craig’s list from the manager of a car dealership.
