hi all, im looking for the 2 inner tie rod ends for my 65 s type parts c29089/90 but can only get 1 at the moment. can you replace the joint in the part or do you have to get the complete bit. if you can does anyone know part number for joint. thanks.
It’s a much better part than the original. It has a nylon or poly internal bearing surface hence won’t collapse like the rubber original part. Big improvement in feel and tracking when I changed over to this design. They’re not meant to be separated for repair.
I’ve got them on my car. A PO had actually made and fitted solid ones, which I replaced.
My car’s steering is pretty good.
