It would have been a 1952 or 53 120 DHC or roadster, in dark green. Original owners were a Swedish diplomatic family in washington DC.
Their namei is von Platen.
Anybody heard about this car?
If the original owner’s full name was C H von Platen then records indicate it was broken up and sold for parts with the body going to S804069 Ex Brian Scott of Wellington & Bill Janes of Tauranga NZ

I am an ald friend of the family, and indeed Carl-Henrik von Platen was the first owner. He was a Swedish diplomat, stationed in Washington DC 1950-55.
I just read his wife’s book and she talks about the trip they made avross the continent, and along the CA coastline before heading back, ”where the engine died upon arrival, never to start again”.
So the body isnow in Australia on another chassis…
She remembers it bein dark green.
