Well tonight I installed an after market LED 3rd brake light
by Pilot in my series 2. I used 2 small metal shims
inserted in above the rear window trim to hold it in place
instead of mounting on the glass. Even though my rear
window is dark tinted these LED’s light up VERY bright and
give you that little extra saftey margine. I love my Jag’s
styling but for such a large car the tail lenses are quite
small. I’m working on internalizing the rear refelctors in
the tail lights next.
