In an earlier post I said I was looking into an xj6/1987 that had a
fire in the engine compartment and now does not start. I have
since gotten more information. The car is cheap!!
According to a friend of the owner, the friend now has the car,
there was a fire on/in the transmission. The fire lasted about 10
seconds and afterwards the car would not start. Supposedly, it
turned over, but would/will not start.
How he knows tha time or locatio, I don’t know
If this is the case, what might be the most likely problem?–
