[Lumps!] Lumped XJ-S needs a new home, for the worst possible reason

I think many Lumps listers will recall this post, from early 2003:

"Hello to the lumps list. My husband Stefan is an A-10 Pilot with the Air
National Guard. He’s over there somewhere raising heck for us.

I have extremely limited contact with him, but did forward the “Cookie List”
request to him. He says thanks and hello to everyone on the Lumps list, but
at this time his location is restricted to receiving items from immediate
family only and asked to be kept in your prayers instead.

If you have ever seen him drive his over powered Lump, you would have to
pity anyone who gets in his sights. Thank God he’s on our side

Warm Regards,

Terry Lynn Tersak
babysitting an 85 XJS Coupe 350/396 TPI 4L60 (I’ll start her up - but won’t
dare put her in gear)"

I am deeply saddened to report that Stefan Tersak was killed in the service
of his country in early August, 2004. The hush-hush nature of Stefan’s
duties seemingly have resulted in his name not having been released as a
casualty of the conflict, though Terry has confirmed to me that she was not
asked to refrain from informing others of his death.

Terry called me to ask if Coventry West would be interested in purchasing
this car but we only buy cars for salvage and I am insistent that this car
not be treated in that manner.

The info in Terry’s sig above is all I have at this time concerning the
modifications made to this vehicle. I do know that Stefan was a licensed
professional engineer as well as very well-versed in automotive technology,
and feel that any work he would have performed on the car would have been of
the very highest quality. Terry indicates the car is in excellent running
condition and has very good external cosmetics. She says the Stefan was in
the process of doing the interior and had installed “race” seats but that
the carpets and rear seats have been removed to begin the process of
interior restoration. She also tells me the car goes like stink! It is black
in color and is located in .

I have volunteered to assist her in finding a new home for this vehicle and
ask all interested persons to contact me. I will make every effort to secure
more info as well as pictures for those expressing a sincere interest in
purchasing the vehicle.

Additionally, if any Lumpers wish to pass along condolences to Terry, I will
be more than happy to forward any emails I receive for her. I hope everyone
understands why I feel I cannot post her email address or contact info.

Oops! Forget to finish my sentence about where the car is located.

North Carolina, between Fayetteville and Raleigh, I believe.
