[Lumps!] Solid mounting subframe

I am making good progress on my series 1 XJ6 here. I finally got it all
certed and legal. I am going through and replacing lots of worn out
parts now.

I see a split subframe V mounts at the front. I have heard that you can
solid mount these. I dont mind a bit of extra road noise as this is my
“fun car” Has anyone done this? I may as well hard mount the front and
rear to make the whole thing stiffen up.

Any advice about hard mounting a series 1 XJ6 would be appreciated.

I finally got hold of a rear swaybar that I will be fitting soon too, yay.

Cheers
Keith

Not sure about hard mounting subframe? If you do, expect
some more vibration from engine to your interior.
What rear sway bar are you using? I have been hunting for a
XJS one for my series 2 XJ6. Have not found one yet.–
