For those of you who were interested in how this project was evolving, I
have the results of the second tank re-fill. Trip computer said we had
used 15.8 gallons… Pumped 15.794 total. At a variance of 6/1000s we
are well past the calibration of the trip computer, possible error in the
pump, and the vagaries of a completely full tank. Hope this holds.
We’re off to the Oregon coast Fri. for a weekend get-away so we’ll get
another re-fill or two by next week. We projected ten re-fills for this
data set but we’ll see.
