A genuine Mr Nice Guy, Mark Stephenson of Arizona, died on July 15 of cancer. He was active on several forums, especially X300 and XK here and was always constructive, positive and helpful. He clearly had one flaw in that he asked me to become an Admin about 15 years ago, but nobody’s perfect. Never heard a nasty word from him and he was as constructive and roll-your-sleeves-up helpful in JCNA as he was here. A sad loss.
Very sad to hear this. His light touch monitoring of the X300 forum made it an enjoyable place to be.

Mark was an exceptional forum admin and a fine gentleman.
I’m sad to hear this. I had the opportunity to meet Mark several years ago during a business trip. It was the weekend of a car show near the downtown area. I met him there and we went for a wonderful ride in what I think was a bright red XK140 or 150. I enjoyed the conversation, along with his oversight of the forum.
Sad indeed.

Mark was a fellow progressive, and we’d “run into” one another, in various comment sections on the Interwebz.
He was a really decent guy.
