Fender Twin Reverbs are a bit heavy for vintage guitarists, sans roadies. All I have left is a 1962 Fender Bandmaster which I keep for sentimental reasons.
I noticed Brian May last night on TV had six Ac30s stacked, I’m guessing he doesn’t load them into the back of his car after the gig.
Apart from the distinctive Vox sound ,I found AC30 was good when we played at ice skating rinks ,the warm air from the vents on top were some help.
Needs parts for the SS?
Paul that’s a repro. The 62 were the chocolate coloured front, Beige Tolex and piggy back . Which made for 2 easier trips to the car. : >)
