Mark V Tail Lights

This may be considered a ‘bodge’ fix, but why not give the holder a squeeze so it is move oval, so the bulb isn’t so tight?
Noone needs to know, except you, me, and all of JL :grin::grin:

I’m supposing that I’ll need two of these relays for my trafficators?

Never mind. Upon rereading, I find that it says “pair”.

SuperbrightLEDS has these: I put non-flashing ones in the dome lights of Harvey and the Rover: MUCH brighter and they don’t get hot and melt the plastic lens.

In trafficators, they would be a splendid idea.

Another pair of sockets from the same maker of course had the same problem.
So I imagine the forming dies were worn out when Dorman sold them to the chinese.
These are going to get a low rating in my online review.

So anyway, I cut slots with my right angle cutting wheel, then opened them up with a thin file until the bulbs would fit.

I put a grounding socket on the back because I think it’s a good idea to have a grounding wire. The other light had a grounding socket, even though there was no grounding wire on either of them. (UK = earth)

Has anyone found these in the states?

The beauty of these is that they open and close circuit simply when power is applied negating the need for flasher cans or relays.

They will charge you $17.29 + $9.97USD to ship them to you from the UK.
