Master cylinder or brake servo?

I have brake fluid leaking down the back of the brake peddle. Where is my
leak coming from? I am about to replace the master cylinder but will this
solve the problem?

The fluid is more likely to be HSMO coming from the brake booster. The
booster sits between the pedal and the master cylinder and they do leak a
little. I don’t think that Brake fluid could make it’s way to the pedal.

I think the booster is a bit more expensive than the Master cylinder, and I
don’t think it’s serviceable. Unfortunately Brett has a later set-up,
otherwise he would have figured out by now how to overhaul these.
