Mk1 glove box or pattern wanted

My glove boxes are missing and no one seems to sell them for Mk1 only Mk2s Thanks

JOE they make them for XK150s so are you sure they do not have a pattern? Try SNG.

Thanks for the reply, I have tried all the normal people but the answer is always the same “ there were not enough Mk1s produced to create the demand to produce parts for these cars.
In many cases Mk2 parts are the same but unfortunately the dash boards are not the same.
But they may be the same as XK150 I will check i could be in luck.

I NOW HAVE THE PATTERNS FOR LEFT AND RIGHT GLOVE BOXES FOR Mk1 LEFT HAND DRIVE SOMEONE
NEEDS TO FIND A SUPPIER OF THE FLOCKED CARDBOARD, I HAVE FAILED. THEN I COULD SEND PAPER PATERNS TO ANY ONE THAT WANTED THEM.

If you have the patterns and the cardboard you can re-flock them yourself. Attached are before and after pictures of the tool boxes from my 1957 MK VIII that I re-flocked with the help of another local Jaguar Club member. Flocking can be purchased from a variety of sources including arts and crafts stores and restoration sources.

What has been done previously was to assemble the box from whatever material
was suitable and then flock the interior with something like this:
