I’m just disassembling my 1958 Mk1 and obviously all of the rubber parts are gone.
Trying to save some cash, I wanted to use as many linear rubber seals available locally as possible.
There are also very specific ones like quarter windows.
But to the point - can anyone show what is the cross-section of the proper front & rear windscreen seal ?
My Mk1 apparently has no chrome frame around the rear (re-done ?!)
What about door & boot seals ? Door seals were completely powdered, so my only hint is the width of the body channel for seal to be glued into. But the height ? Is it hollow or full rubber … foam ?
Trunk/boot seal was also a glue-in, I guess this is not the case for Mk2 … or maybe ?
