Does anyone know what lubricant is now being used in the vacuum side piston?
The book calls for Shell Tellus 33 which is not longer available.
What is now being used and where can it be purchased?

I had to do the research as there were not replies. If you as so inclined and do take you brake booster apart, you should go to your local machine shop and ask for a small amount of their “way lubricant” The book recommendation lub for the vacuum piston and chamber is Shell Tellus 33. This is just way lub, any sort will do. The way lubricants are designed to stick to the surfaces. Light oils will slowly drift to the bottom of the chamber whereas the way lub will stay in place.
