After several weeks of Internet reading and corresponding with many list
members, I believe I have found the best engine oil: AMSOIL 0W-30. I
judged this to be the best for cars requiring a 30-weight oil based upon its
viscosity index (196) and its flash point (439 degrees F). For those of you
planning on keeping your cars for the rest of your lives, I believe this to
be the best their currently is in the US.
