[modern] brake discs/pads

Hello,all
I have EBC kevlar pads in front and rear(black ones).In front i have EBC discs
in front and brembo discs in rear.I am very satisfied of Ebc bads,no more black
dust.We will see how they last.

Hi Jukka and other EBC Green pad users,

Are they quiet once bedded in? Why I ask is that I’ve had OEM organic pads
in another car (Ford, as it happens) that made a grinding noise when the
brakes were applied - like railway brakes. A change to Ferodo solved the
noise problem, though with lots of black dust.

Hi Mike and all,

I have EBC green and new discs. The pads are nice for light city driving. I
have noticed brake fade upon heavy driving, They produce little dust and
are quite. I not all that impressed. I am considering going back to jag
pads. Enrique

My experience with EBC pads have been great so far. I have over 13,000 miles
on a set of “Green Pads” with very little dust, no noise and about 40% of
wear left on my XJR. I already purchased a set for the XK8 when they need to
be replaced. I highly recommend them.
