I had a rim that lost about 2 PSI a day. Close examination showed air leaking
out of the inside of the rim. It was repaired by letting the air out of the
tire, drawing a slight vacuum with a shop vac at the tire stem, heating the
rim until it was warm to the touch and applying a special wicking Lock-tite
to the area. It ingressed the affected area and sealed it. The fix has been
good for a year now. A LOT cheaper than replacing the rim.
