[modern] Cooler leakage

Hi All!

My enginecooler, gee I am not sure if its called that, is leaking.

Not much but I do get the low coolant warning after 10 days or so.

A new engine cooler will cost me approx. ï¿½800 + VAT.

A used cooler ï¿½100, rebuild my cooler ï¿½180.

So… What is the best option ?

My garage told me it is not common for the cooler to “burst” this
way. Is a used cooler a good idea ?

I could certainly do alot with ï¿½700!

Daniel,
I think you mean radiator…if you don’t, disregard this message. I would
probably opt for the repairing of your own. A used radiator may not have
much life in it, and most radiators can be repaired or recored and be as good
as new. Get your’s fixed.
