I have tried to sign up for the new xj40 list but it doesn’t work. Please

it’s going to pretty hard for anyone to help you if you don’t tell us what
you did, what confirmation message you got, etc…
so let’s start with the basic stuff… did you plug your computer into the
wall outlet ?
sorry… coudln’t resist… after subs. on the Majordomo page, did
youreceive teh email with the confirmation code ?

When your attempt to subscribe failed, I sent you a message about what went
wrong. I’m not sure why you didn’t receive the message.
When you send the authorization code to majordomo@jag-lovers.org you need
to make sure that the e-mail account that you are using to send the message
is the same e-mail account that you want to use to subscribe to the list.
The system will not process requests if the two addresses are not exactly
the same.
The address that you used to send your message to majordomo was very
strange, and when I attempted to send a message to that address, it was
returned to me. I also sent the message to your czapski@sprynet.com
address, which you have used on the modern list for some time. It looks to
me like you have set up your mail in a way to block responses. The problem
with doing this is that it prevents you from receiving wanted mail as well
as unwanted mail.
I’m happy to help people who have problems subscribing, but unless they
reply to my messages there is not much that I can do. I need to find out
what sort of problem you are having.
