[modern] Jaguar Majestic - the real thing!

Hi, All

Can someone please decode the following colour details from our 1993
Jaguar
Majestic, 87,000ks:

Paint: CFG

Trim: AFW

Further, the car is a genuine Majestic - I have read that there were
only
50
made - extra 5" in the back, more upright rear window (body work by
Project
Aerospace) and ‘to order’ trim (by Jaguar Special Vehicles Operations)
before final despatch. Ours is a 4.0 l but I also have read that approx
50> > were V12s. Doesn’t leave many 6’s??? Has anyone else got a genuine
Majestic?
Can anyone tell us more? (We am aware that the Yanks were supplied with
sovs
badged as Majestics but these were standard body style)

Thanks

Ray,

Majestics were made in two years only in the USA.

90 and 92

the model year begins in middle of the calendar year so the 90 model year runs
approx from June 89 to July 90 and the 92 from approximately June 91 to July
92.

To my knowledge it is not possible to have a 93 Majestic.

Check the Kelly used car and other used car price guides and you you will find
there are 90 models and 92 models listed

As fro 50 I wish that were so. Probably more like 250 for each year.

Check the member photos my 90 and Dave Logensgards 90 are shown in the members
pics and I know of one other lister with a Majestic.

Ray,

Missed you last dig at Sovereigns “Badged as Majestic” in the US.

Not true lad. Also quite a bad thing for Jag if true, something about fraud
and misrepresentation or some silly law like that.

Mine is a Majestic you can see the photos on the members section.

I have never heard or a US XJ12 Majestic cause they were not supplying the XJ12
due to emissions.

See ya
Jay 90 XJ6 Majestic VDP

PS is is longer and that makes taking out the headliner harder too
