[modern] Radio Wait & Code

Hello List
I have used my Jag to diagnose my faulty Trooper
batteries, it has 2 & I was hoping only 1 was faulty but
both were duff. I now have a radio that I cannot seem
to enter the code, I have successfully used this code
before. It now indicates CODE without allowing any
input then changes to WAIT. I have read in the manual
that after 3 incorrect code inputs it has to be returned to
the dealer, is that correct.
Hoping you can help.

Dave,

If you disconnect the power supply to the radio for an hour (+/-) it should
‘reset’. One way to do this would be to disconnect the battery

Dave,
No, just turn it off for a while.
I am not sure how long, but its hours…

That or you have to disconnect the power for a long time,
I forget…
