The genuine Jaguar kit includes two new shocks and two new springs. Some
non-Jaguar kits give you two new shocks but no new springs, these kits are
generally regarded as giving inferior results as the self levelling springs
are shorter than the non-self levelling ones.
The original equipment shocks are of very good quality, they are part of
what gives the trademark Jaguar ride. Do there appear to be any
manufacturers marks on the shocks (name?).

I just checked. The shocks are Bilsten, and the kit does include the
springs. Sound OK?
