2003 RTP police highway pursuit bike. Most people I pull up to slow down and let me pass… quite courteous of them I think.

I don’t think it’s the bike. Probably the nifty black and white paint.
Ever try turning on your emergency flashers?
Up here in Ontario you cannot have colored flashing lights on your bike unless you are emerg services. You’re right, the white and black paint job seems to add to the fear from the drivers when I pull up. I also wear a reflective vest for safety, so that adds to the mistaken identity.
