Not this year, I spent the weekend on the stand at the Restoration show instead (and supplied all the vehicles!). I may be going for one day, not sure which, with a bunch of friends, but we haven’t worked out any details yet.
I do find the business stands a bit off-putting. I visited all the blasting/stripping stands present at last year’s show, coming away with no quote below £3000 inc. priming. I then discovered that the local guy who had done all my previous cars, then retired, had sold the business on rather than wind it up, so I got the entire car done for £500 including weld-through primer, collection and delivery. I don’t understand the discrepancy - the work was excellent.
