Obsessed and e-types seem to be mutually exclusive. They certainly weren’t obsessing over minor details when building them…

They were well built when new.

Not saying they weren’t. But a car built in the sixties from predominant fifties (or older) technology with a management mindset of selling cars does not lead to the obsession level that the thread owner has in perfecting his e.

I have nothing against it. Each to their own with their own cars.

Personally, mine is kept running to run on the road often. I’m not fussed with minor details.

What color did you use (Brand, color name or code)? I bought a pair of very dusty NOS Girling shocks from Welsh Jaguar, but they are scraped up and I want to repaint them. They look blue, like yours. Thanks

Dang, I, too, am about as OCD as OCD can be about my 67 E OTS.

How guilty should I feel?

You are all welcome to come to my garage and use my car as your OCD object as an outpatient procedure.

Great job to all, these cars look nice.
