Ross: I’ve looked at spending some serious money to buy a newer model Jag
after my XJ 40 is perfected. However if your childish, snobbish, elitist
attitude is reflective of the other owners of the more expensive - better
jags, I will content myself with my tinny - poorly designed 88 VDP. One
of the true joys of owning this car is the people I’ve met while
challenging its mechanical idiocincracies.
If moving up to a “better Jag” brings with it an association with your ilk,
I’ll pass.
