New Welding Machine fixing Mark V wings

My poor old basso costo scadente Italian UnoMig died after 25 years of frequently reluctant service. I’m turning 65 and to celebrate my wife bought me a new welding machine.
Vulcan OmniPro 220.
MIG/TIG/Flux/Stick
and an auto darkening helmet.
What a difference!
My left front wing of my Mark V had dozens of pinhole to pencil size rust holes along the 90 degree bend where the beading was against the main body and retaining dirt and water. The new MIG filled them all in about an hour. I am finally able to do wash welding, washing over a lumpy weld to smooth it out.

Congratulations Rob; Sometimes there is something to be said for new tools being better than old tools!

I clearly remember, now 30-odd years in the rear views, getting my first MIG machine (and STILL working!!) and thinking, “How did I do w/o one of these for so long?”
