As I sit here, looking at a thermometer stuck at -20C, I’m thinking that it will be a while before I’ll be putting the top down on my XK8. I’m also reminded that less than a month ago, I was in Sacramento, looking at palm trees rather than naked poplar trees. The solstice passed us 3 days ago, so spring is coming. Good skiing is also coming.

Soon enough, the warm weather and the black flys will be back for ya!
If the mercury rises to 0C, tomorrow, Ill go out and fire up the Rover, which hasn’t turned a wheel in almost 6 weeks.
Sensor is defective.
It’s not us. It’s the high in Montana that is keeping us on the cold side of the jet stream. If those Montanians would stop getting high, things might improve. As a friend says, “we need the low in Idaho”.
