I always get so stressed whenever my car has an electrical issue, and I am such a pessimist I always think it is going to be something much more of a problem than it usually turns out to be. Probably down to my fear of the cars electrical system and the trouble I have in understanding the diagrams. !4 years of XJ40 ownership should have taught me by now that itβs never as bad as I first thought.
I know exactly what you are saying here. I think it is a common symptom of owners of these cars with much mystery pertaining to the overly complex electrical system. My Morris Minors and 1951 MG seem so simple!
I do mean that one!!
Iβm glad it has worked and the fault was DBC10009. It does seem to be much more likely to fail than the other modules.
