Here is an update- if anyone has been following this thread. After several conversations with Dennis (OP) it is clear that the fuel in the main tank is not flowing into the sump- so the fuel pump is trying to pump a mixture of air and fuel. Result- very little pressure. There is a blockage somewhere that will have to be cleared. Most likely the main tank and the sump will have to be removed and cleaned. This may take some time so we’ll have to wait for the results! To be continued…
Likely the line from tank to sump has collapsed internally.
I suspect that the fuel tank is rusted internally and debris is clogging the supply line.
