Hello everyone. I posted this on The ‘E’ Type forum, but also wanted to post here. Not sure of proper etiquette? Should I repost the whole thing here (for anyone interested who isn’t on both sites) or just the link, or not repost at all? What’s standard procedure here?

This is just my opinion but…

I see no problem with informational threads (like yours) being posted on both forums as many (well, me anyway) are not on both and the subject is of interest. I think a link is sufficient if one can look at the post as a ‘guest’ rather than having to sign up.

OTOH, if it a technical question I think it is courteous to pick one venue and ask it. If posters there are stumped or you do not get replies or the offered solutions don’t work, then other venues may be pursued.

Again, just my view on it.
