\(o)/ Ride Height Adjustment woes \(o)/

As others have mentioned make sure everything is disconnected from the lower a-arm so it can rotate freely. Also, in order for it to rotate freely, you’ll have to loosen both #13 nuts as shown below in order to position the a-arm in the sweet spot Terry mentioned in item 3.

Yes, and heard them stating gas tank etc should be full which it is not and full interior not installed either…

That’s for measuring ride height after the bar adjustments are made, car is complete, full of gas etc etc. That measurement is taken from the lower A arm pivot to the ground.

Thank you all for the helpful input.

We are self admitted 100% novice (NOOB’s), so my apologies for needing clarification.

Sharing your knowledge is much appreciated. :+1:t3:

This is very helpful, thank you.

Not sure what “the joints” refers to. The shocks, and either upper or lower ball-joints MUST be disconnected to set the t-bars. The tie rod ends MUST be disconnected before the shocks are disconnected to avoid over-stressing the tie rod ends.

If you redid the suspension
Drive the car for a good 50 to 100 miles with a full tank of gas
Then readjust torsion bars
They settle dow ALOT

The car in this video has the aftermarket adjustable reaction plate which I don’t believe Candiece has.
Also, not sure I would keep the entire weight of the vehicle on the oil pan…

That is correct. Had watched that actual video (4 parts)

Bottom line: it’s a fiddlely, difficult job.

I, and many of us have started in the same place.
