Good evening from Texas. I have a 03 xtype that’s sending a p1647 code. I understand that is a O2 sensor bank 2. In my research, I’m getting confusing information. Where is this sensor located? Drivers side or passenger side? She couldn’t pass inspection. There was also a P1000 code. Will this clear after the new sensor is installed? Many thanks. Mickey
I believe Bank 2 is the left side of the engine, Because the engine is transverse mounted, the left side is next to the firewall. I also believe there are two O2 sensors on each bank. As a first step, you could use your code reader to re-set the codes and see if they come back.
