Hi Larry, when I changed my original sender unit a few years back a direct replacement was no longer available so I had to use the Jaguar ‘upgraded’ replacement that came with a resistor in the packaging. I welded the open end from a 19 mm spanner to an old extension bar and it was really easy to use to remove the old unit. The replacement however uses a nut with 21mm A/F so I had to 'butcher ’ another spanner to make another tool to fit the new unit.
