First time irs rebuild, I’ve found lots of stuff on stripping down the output shaft but I am struggling on how to reset the torque on reassembly. The manuals mention a torque screwdriver with ‘a suitable’ adapter’ does anyone have a photo or found another way to do this? TIA
If you are talking about the tapered bearings on the side of the differential, you need a new collapsible spacer and you have to measure preload.
