I just replaced the emergency brakes on my '89 a few months ago. Very straight forward, no drama.
Do I have tp remove the wheel hub? ( the part with the lugs)
I foind the answer in the service manual, also found why that notch is there.
Where did you find the correct shoes?
Well I got the actuaters working with some lite weight lube and putting back together ping, one of the hold down clips dissapeard into the yard ! Dang it, now what? The little clips that hold the shoe on the spring, any ideas?
how do you release item 23 shown in the diagram above?
I just flushed the old fluid out and put in new. After closing the system up my brake pedal won’t move. Could I have a caliper stuck open?
I need to remove the cable so I can remove the rear hub for bearing rebuild. There is no fluid, it is a mechanical actuated e-brake.
