Since we’re in topic drift mode I’ll add - Peter had a post some time back (maybe 2 years) describing a ‘5-minute fix’ to easily disable those secondary plates. Possibly not as effective as total removal (which I finally did) but easy enough to do and get maybe 90% of the benefit.
