Positive battery post terminal - how to replace?

Hi guys,

Is it possible to replace the battery post terminals (well, the terminal closest to the battery) under the hood? My post snapped off years ago - I’ve been using a coupling nut but I’d like to properly replace it when I redo my wiring harness.

Do they unscrew from the firewall? Has anyone had to repair theirs before?

I replaced the C45021 feed-thru long long ago. When I first got the XJs3, I was a bit over zealous tightening it and cracked the insulators. Yeah, it just bolts through the firewall.
