My power steering is working but stiff at slow speed and parking . I have changed rack anyone know how test the electrical side it’s a 1998 xjr 4.0 V8.
on the rack is an electrical plug. DIsconnect it and measure the resistance of the rack. There should be some resistance.
Put a 5W bulb on the car loom. Turn the ignition and engine on. The bulb should light up.
If not there is a custom ZF relay somewhere. (left front footwell I think) that may need changing or checking
