Well I’m pleasantly surprised. After great deliberation and research, I made myself just poor it in. I knew it either wouldn’t work at all or it would cause even more of an issue than the teaspoon of fluid leaking from the rack tower daily. I could only bring myself to put about 4 oz in but 72 hours later, my cardboard drip catcher is spotless. By way of disclaimer, not everyone has this result. Hopefully it will hold until next season, when the repair will top my project list. Now to clean the garage floor.
