drophead. Chasis # S838224DN. somebody have some info (year,

‘‘Pre-XK’’ forum referring to the cars that did NOT have the
XK engine but the earlier pushrod engines (SS’s, SS Jaguars
and MKIV and MKV)

Scrolling through Browse Cars on XKdata, I see several cars
before and after this chassis number were built in April
1959, so yours is 1959. Apply for a Heritage Certificate to
learn the original color scheme.–
